Capturing the beauty of the world around us

I love photography, I hope you can see that by browsing through my shop :). It started over 20 years ago with a fascination for nature. I took a photography course in college, read many books on the subject, tried different ideas, cameras and lenses, became an active member of a few photo groups. I soon switched from negatives to slides and then, over time, from slides to digital.

In the course of those years I've seen hundreds of sunrises and sunsets, as the light is usually best at that time of the day. I went on many photo road trips, like the one to National Parks of South Dakota and Wyoming, one around Lake Michigan, one down the East Cost from Delaware to Key West, a few trips to Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia and Florida. I also stopped way too many times during my other trips, only because I saw something that was "picture-perfect" in my mind ;). People closest to me know that when I see something that I get fascinated with, I will usually not leave until I get the shot I want.

I started selling prints on Etsy in 2012, after my friend, who does pottery, introduced me to the site. Being a shop owner helped me improve and grow. It took a tremendous amount of time and work to get to the number of sales I've got. However, I learned a lot in the process, and I'm proud of the selection of pictures I offer in my store, and most importantly, proud of all the wonderful feedback I have received for my work over those years. I put emphasis on quality and affordable price, and my clients are happy with the prints they receive. Yes, I work hard, but that's how we grow :).

I have recently opened another Etsy shop, combining my love of photography with an appreciation of vintage. Please check it out, as you can find more items to decorate your house over there:
